-
- Here's a good form of the 'proof' everyone seems to be looking for. Dwight
- Silverman from the Houston Chronicle told me 'point blank' that he wouldn't
- cover ANYTHING having to do with the Amiga. His point was that while the
- Amiga 'was' an advanced computer in it's day, no amount of reviving will
- make it a 'real' computer in his mind.
-
- He said that he covers the pc dos machines 90-95% and Mac the other 5-10%
- because that is the way he views the market. Recently he was asking all Mac
- owners to email him their concerns about not being able to find
- software/hardware locally. He was interested in knowing how it felt to buy a
- computer 'knowing' that you'd have to mailorder any extras? The Mac people
- about bit his head off (remembering when ...).
